Finland - Igloos and ice
In our recommended itinerary we have kept a clear day to allow you to fit in one or more of our experience enhancements. Alternatively, we can tailor make a longer stay to fit in more to your incentive:
Snowmobile day trip – Explore fells, visit gold mines where you can pan for gold – a day on snowmobiles is for many the personal highlight of a trip to northern Finland.
Mushing sled dogs – Drive your own team of Alaskan huskies through pristine wilderness. Stop in a wilderness cabin for lunch.
The Arctic Ocean snowmobile adventure – Offering you and your guests unforgettable experiences driving a snowmobile for hundreds of kilometres across the magnificent austere mountains of northern Lapland and Norway to the Arctic Sea. A team building exercise par excellence!
Downhill skiing – There are ski slopes everywhere in Finland so a day on the piste is easily arranged.
Cross country skiing – For getting off the beaten track this form of skiing is a must. Tracks are laid all over Finland as this more than downhill it’s the national winter sport.
Snowshoe and toboggan – We have a fabulous trip in Kakslauttanen which combines a snow shoe walk with lunch and then the opportunity to toboggan down the one mile fell run.
Gastronomy – From private dinners in Ice restaurants or traditional Sami Kota’s to a Lapland cooking clinic - if food is your beef then let us build this into your programme.
Northern Lights snowmobile adventure – Adventure in the stillness of the night with the Aurora lights flashing overhead is an experience never to be forgotten.
Reindeer safari – Either as part of a visit to a Sami settlement or on sleds drawn by reindeer.
Ice fishing – Venture out on a frozen lake where you will drill holes in the ice and go fishing for Arctic Char.
Private Santa trips – For exclusive Santa experiences look no further. This is no production line experience but an opportunity to journey into the forest to Santa’s wilderness cabin for a private audience.
