Kenya - Big cat diary
A 4 night safari is the minimum needed to experience this unique opportunity of shooting your own ‘big cat diary’ and seeing Africa’s Big Game through the eye of a lens whilst witnessing some amazing animal behaviour and the stunningly beautiful, panoramic scenery of the Mara.
Day 1
Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by our representative, road transfer to Wilson airport for air transfer to Serian Camp in the Massai Mara. Transfer to Camp for lunch, a late afternoon game drive then return to Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 and 3
Early morning and/ or late afternoon game drives by the resident safari driver guide in the course of which you will set-up and start filming/photograph sessions. Lunch may be taken in picnic boxes or, bush lunches prepared or enjoyed back at the camp.
During the days you will find yourself immersed in the rhythm of the African Savannah, waking early to shoot the sunrise, walking amongst the herds and taking note of even the tiniest of absorbing sights, smells and sounds!
Following the flight of the vulture and watching as it lands in a treetop. Conceivably it has found the pride of Lion whose calls you have heard in the remoteness of your dreams. Most travellers rush past these absorbing natural sights and press on to the next in line scratching the surface and never establishing a more intimate connection with what goes on.
Day 4
Early morning Honey hunting with Ndorobo Bushmen and working with the U R predator project crew in the afternoon.
Day 5
After lunch, transfer to Musiara airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi and road transfer to JKIA for your international flight.
