Madeira - A true island escape

Golf – Palheiro Golf is situated on Madeira Island some 10 km east of Funchal with magnificent views overlooking the town and bay and is set within the stunning 200 year old Palheiro Estate.

Spa – Choupana Hills has 1 Outdoor and 1 indoor pool with hydrotherapy, sauna, Authentic Turkish bath Hydro massage room, 2 treatment rooms offering facials, algae wraps, aromatherapy, reflexology, Shiatsu, Indian Head Massage and Rasul treatment.

Private dinners – Depending on the size of the group we can find a special location for a gala dinner. Either in an historical building or outdoors soaking up the islands dramatic scenery, a memorable night is in store

Toboggan down From Monte – Probably the most famous tourist pastime in Madeira is the wicker basket toboggan run down from the scenic town of Monte. Hold on for an Adrenalin rush! Relive Columbus’s Voyage on the Santa Maria – This magnificent replica of Christopher Columbus’s galleon ‘SANTA MARIA’ was built on the island of Madeira in the small fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. It took 8 craftsmen almost 10 years to build and makes regular sailings which you are invited to join in on.

Madeira Wine Lodges and Wine – A tour of Funchal and surrounds with a focus on gastronomy takes in the fabulous wines of Madeira and the architectural.

Jeep safari – A journey into the Hinterland is immensely rewarding. Mountain tracks take you to the magnificent views of Cova da Roda, Cascalho and Boca das Voltas (near Santana). Lunch is “Espetada” eaten in a picnic style in the mountains. After lunch return to Funchal.

Experience day – For an active day there is plenty to choose from. Venture out on jeeps and fit in your choice of the following - Archery, paint ball, moto 4x4, abseiling, climbing or simply a wilderness walk.
