New York - A bite of the big apple
Bateaux New York – Enjoy the combinaison of a fine dinning and a beautiful cruise on the Hudson and East rivers that will pass along the main coast skyscrapers as well as the Intrepid, the Sea-Air Space museum and the Verrazano Narrows Vridge, the second longest single-span suspended bridge in the world.
Manhattan city tour – Starting from The Village, the artist’s haven of Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown then across the Brooklyn Bridge to the Brooklyn Promenade. Soak up the culture of with a tour of the ‘melting pot’ of New York City. You will then visit Midtown Manhattan with Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, the Trump Towers, the NBC Studio and the St. Patrick Cathedral en finish at the famous shopping strip: Fifth Avenue.
Helicopter tour – Get the birds eye view of NYC, it’s a real must if you want to really get the overall picture of the awesome sight of New York City. You fly mainly around the downtown area but you get a breath taking view of the sights below you, everything looks so different when you are looking down from up above.
Airport transfer by helicopter – The true VIP way to arrive in Manhattan, avoiding the traffic and a chance to enjoy the breathtaking view of Manhattan upon arrival. It’s worth it!
Speedboat ride – Experience New York’s fastest speedboat reaching 45 miles per hour! 30 minutes of pure thrill. You can catch a close –up view of the Statue of Liberty where you stop for a quick photo opportunity, and an incredible view of the New York skyline.
Central Park biking tour – Travel through the famous Strawberry fields, past the lake and through to Belvedere Castle. Passing also the Dakota Apartments where John Lennon was assassinated. There are mini stops through out the tour and also a mid point stop where you are taken to drinks and snacks.
Gospel tour of Harlem and brunch (Sunday only) – Visit the largest Cathedral in the world: the St John the Divide, Grant’s tomb near Columbia University, Apollo Theatre, and the St Nicholas Historic District. Then participate in a mass including gospel singing, to fell the spirit of Harlem.
City tour of the Bronx, Brooklyn and the Queens – The Bronx and Queens are the three most diverse areas of New York. There is Jewish, Italian, African and even Russian and Jamaican enclaves.
The Empire State Building – High speed elevators with passages to the 86th Floor Observatory were there is a glass-enclosed viewing areas and outdoor promenades. There is also viewing from the second observatory on the 102nd floor
Guggenheim Museum – This museum is an architectural anomaly in the row of classically designed structures. To visit this mseum, you will go up to the last floor and then walk down along a main hallway watching at the painting and sculptures on the side wall. Because that hallway turns over on itself and has a slight downslop, you will end up on the first floor again without going down any stairs or elevators! The museum exhibits temporary shows and some major pieces such as Picasso and Matisse.
Museum of Modern Art – The Museum of Modern Art was the first museum to devote its programs and collection entirely to the modern movement, and the quality and diversity of the Museum's collection offers an unparalleled overview of modern and contemporary art. From an initial gift of eight prints and one drawing, the collection has grown to encompass more than 100,000 works in a variety of mediums, divided into six collecting areas: architecture and design, drawings, film and video, painting and sculpture, photography, and prints and illustrated books. The works in the collection date from the 1840s for photography, and from the 1880s to the present day for other media.
Metropolitan Museum – Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and more specifically the Temple of Dendur in the Egyptian Art section. The museum has one of the most comprehensive collections of paintings, Egyptian art and sculptures of the world.
The Manhattan Treasure Hunt – A fun team-building event that combines the thrill of competition with the spirit of exploration. The way it works is simple: choose an area of Manhattan in which to hold the event. Once assembled, teams of players are given clues that lead to fascinating, beautiful, and bizarre places where they will retrieve or document something mentioned in the clue. The team with the most treasures, wins. Meanwhile, everybody gets to play/work together in an intense situation under a deadline.
Broadway show withafter theater and Pre-theater pizza and cast parties – enjoy a delicious dinner in a well-known theater district restaurant, they will experience a thrilling, hour-long discussion. Individuals are able to socialize, hear backstage anecdotes, take pictures, get autographs, and to feel the buzz of the exciting world of show business.
Harley Davidson tour – Enjoy the sites and sounds of Manhattan from the back of a Harley Davidson.
Harlem by movies tour – Harlem’s urban beauty attracts movie production companies from all over the world, the tour mixes the sights associated with motion picture production with Harlem heritage and history, entering several
of the venues that are showcased and convey the history of the locations and the areas in which they exist. Some of the sights visited include; Historic Harlem jazz club where parts of the movie “Malcolm X” was shot. You can sit in the same seat that Denzell Washington seat in while you watch the clip from the movie - make yourself a part of Harlem Hollywood; the Harlem church that served as one of the sets from the movie “Ali” staring Will Smith; the legendary basketball court where parts of the movie “Above The Rim” was filmed staring the late rapper Tupuc Shakur; Spanish Harlem and watch clips from the movie “Calito’s Way” starring Al Pacino. Spanish Harlem is overflowing with Hispanic heritage; the Apollo Theater where Chris Rock starred in the film “Down to Earth”.
Dance and drama audition clinics – Take part in an intensive two-hour class taught by award-winning teachers from New York's leading companies! Audition techniques and advice, Improvisation and Monologue Class, Tap, Broadway Jazz, Modern (Horton, Limon and Graham), Classical Ballet ( Joffrey Ballet , New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Ballet Hispanic), and Hip Hop Funk are a few of our favorites.
Broadway song and dance – Get into the Broadway "state-of-mind" during this two-hour clinic where they learn an authentic Broadway Song & Dance combination by a Broadway "triple threat" (dancer, actor, and singer) and a professional New York City vocal coach. The group rehearses and perfects the vocals and choreography to a Broadway routine.
A celebrity chef cooking demo – A fun, interactive and private cooking demo with passed hors d’oeuvres and wine (or a continental breakfast) in a popular New York restaurant and then your group will move on to another restaurant for a multi-course lunch or dinner.
