The Kremlin – is frequently referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. It contains 5 Russian Orthodox Cathedrals, the Armory Chamber and the extraordinary Diamond Fund displaying state treasures, including a large imperial crown of gold made for the coronation of Catherine the Great.
St. Petersburg tour – St. Petersburg is the cultural treasure house of Russia. Visit Nevsky prospect, Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood, Field of Mars, Smolny Cathedral and the Peter and Paul Fortress, burial place of Russian Emperors from Peter the Great to the last Tsar Nicolas II.
Hermitage museum – The largest art museum in the world with over 3 million paintings including masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Titian, Rembrandt and all the Impressionists and Post-impressionists. We can also offer exclusive tours to the gold and diamond rooms.
Veliky Novgorod – 180 kilometers from Saint-Petersburg, dates to 859 making it Russia’s oldest city. Kremlin, churches and monasteries and a marvellous open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture “Vitoslavlitsy” are the major attractions. Well worth the day trip if time allows.
The War Museum at the underground command post “Tagansky” in Moscow – This secret underground bunker located in Moscow city centre at a depth of 65 m is able to give refuge to 5000 people during a nuclear attack. It is a real chance to glimpse into cold war Moscow.
Spying game – What a great way to explore a city. This ‘game’ draws you into the great story of kidnapping, pursuit, imprisonment, Russian Troikas, Imperial Palaces, Ghosts, hidden treasures and more...
Imperial reception – Feel like a Russian Tsar or Tsarina as you celebrate in one of the interiors of the Imperial Russian Palaces. The elaborate dinner will be served as if during the reign of the Russian Emperors and accompanied by the “court” orchestra or ballet performance.
Russian party – Visit the Old Russian Village and enter to “isba” (the log house of Russian peasants) to try “blini” — Russian pancakes with vodka and caviar. You will be charmed by the tea ceremony trying things such as specially prepared teas with herbal essences from Russian samovars.
Luxury “Troika” rides – the symbol of all Russian festivities accompanied by a Gipsy band singing and dancing.
Master classes – Make a Matrioshka Doll, or If you are fond of Russian Ballet participate in a master class in the famous Vaganov School. As a painter visit one of the Russian Art Schools whilst at the unique Alfred Mirek Russian Accordion Museum, enjoy fancy-dress musical excursions as you try to sing in Russian and play the Russian national musical instrument.
Russian bath-house “Sandunoff” – The fantastic Russian sauna where a mug of beer and a “heart-to-heart-talk” are the done thing.
Dinner & vodka tasting – at the local restaurant “Godunov” Russian cuisine & Folklore Show.
St.. Petersburg by limousine – Panoramic night tour in Russian Limousine (“ZIL”, “ZIM”, Chaika”, Volga” — official cars of Soviet government) to see the opening of the draw bridges.
Romantic boat trip – Boat trip by night with a glass of sparkling wine to see the opening of draw bridges from the water.
Theatre – There are always excellent performances on in Moscow and St. Petersburg. From the Bolshoi to the Mariinsky, from classical to Dance – fitting in a show and dinner is often a highlight
Russian Palaces - visit one of the many historic palaces:
• Summer Palace of Peter the Great – One of the first stone buildings it features the items that belonged to Peter the Great and Catherine 1.
• Pushkin – the former country residence of Catherine the Great houses the legendary Amber Room which disappeared during the 2nd World War but has just been recently restored.
• Peterhof – Is a jewel of Russian art, a town of parks, palaces, and fountains.
• Pavlovsk – The last of the imperial estates to be built as the summer residence of the Russian emperor Paul 1
