Ice Rally Driving

Experience a days exhilaration Ice track Rally driving, tutored by a 4 times World Rally champion, followed by a Snowmobiling adventure through the forests of Kuusamo.

DAY 1: Airport transfer and dinner.

On arrival at airport transport will take you to your hotel where you will have dinner.

DAY 2: Days tuition Rally driving.

The Juha Kankkunen Driving Academy offers you the best of the rally world: fast, fun and speed – and all on a specially built race track of snow and ice!! You also have a unique opportunity to sit next to 4 times world rally champion Juha Kankkunen and experience the true feeling of exhilaration, as he speeds along a 4-mile long rally special in his Mitsubishi Subaru rally car. The experience of driving through snowy forest, along a narrow, winding road over 200 kilometers per hour is unforgettable!

The day will consist off a combination of initial theory briefing and practical driving training in small groups (1-3 people). On a track of snow and ice you will have to control over and under steering, emergency braking and avoiding obstacles at high speed. After lunch there will be a competition to see who has mastered the snow and ice track the best.

Dinner will be at the authentic game restaurant Riipinen which is within walking distance of the hotel.

DAY 3: Snowmobile safari and transfer for flight home.

After breakfast at the hotel you will kitted out in your arctic winter equipment for the snowmobile safari through the snowy forest. A break is made by a warm campfire where you can grill your own sausage and eat a lunch of a sandwich, sweet Finnish bread and coffee. After the break, the snowmobile adventure continues back to Safari House where a transfer will take you back to the airport.
