Accademia

Accademia is one of Verona’s few older hotels (dating from the 19th century) that were custom built rather than being transformed from a monastery or palazzo. Situated in the centre of Verona, Hotel Accademia is located just off the shopping street of Via Mazzini and within easy reach of the Roman Arena.

The hotel, although centrally located is surprisingly quiet and tranquil with courteous and helpful staff and comfy sofas for lounging in. The bedrooms are mostly large and well furnished; the high-ceiling guest rooms are conservatively traditional and contain excellent furnishings. The Accademia is our most used hotel and always attracts positive feedback from clients.

Grand Hotel Gardone

Grand Hotel Gardone Riviera is a grand old dame but still the leading lady of Gardone. When it was built in 1881, this was the most fashionable hotel on the lake and one of the biggest resorts in Europe. Famous guests have
included Winston Churchill, Gabriele d’Annunzio, and Somerset Maugham. The main salon’s sculpted ceilings, parquet floors, and comfortable chairs make it an ideal spot for reading or watching the lake.

The guest rooms are spacious and traditionally furnished, always inviting (especially those balconies overlooking the lake). All the bathrooms come with deluxe toiletries. In the summer, at lunch time an extensive buffet is available on the garden terrace, near the swimming pool, while dinner is served in the lake side restaurant. A high quality of fresh food, refined cuisine and many local specialities are distinctive features.
