Private imperial train experience

An exclusive opportunity for your private party to dine on the Majestic Imperator, which replicates the original Imperial train. Combined with a private dinner in Mozarts house and a visit to Schonbrunn Palace this is a glimpse into the Habsburg Imperial lives.

DAY 1: Fly Vienna. Afternoon at leisure. Early evening take Majestic Imperator train to Bratislava for an evening at the Casino.

Fly to Vienna and transfer to hotel. Afternoon at leisure to explore Vienna.

This evening relish a trip back to the grandeur of the Habsburgs aboard the Majestic Imperator luxury train which will be run as a private train for you. Our favourite luxury carriage, the Excelsior carriage, replicates a carriage from the original Imperial Train of Emperor Franz Joseph I which can seat up to 43 guests. There is a bar and a dance floor, and the original mirror of Empress Elisabeth’s carriage hangs in Excelsior. The Imperator will take you across the border to Bratislava the quaint capital of Slovakia. During the journey the first and second course of your dinner will be served to you. On arrival you will visit the casino for a couple of hours before returning to Vienna by the train and having your final course and coffee.

DAY 2: Visit Spanish Riding School and concert in Mozart’s house

After a late start to recover from the previous night today you will have a private reception at the Spanish riding school where you will learn a bit of the history of the school before attending a performance where the foals and their mothers will show carriage presentations. Afterwards you will have an exclusive tour through the stables for your group only.

This evening you will have a private guided tour at the Mozart House, where Mozart lived and performed many concerts, and find out about the life and works of this musical genius.

Afterwards a three course meal will be served by waiters in historical costumes and in-between the courses a classical duo (violins) will play music by Mozart.

DAY 3: Vienna tour including the State Opera House and Schönbrunn

After breakfast witness Vienna’s highlights such as the State opera House, the Ring, and of course the main focus of the tour, the Schönbrunn, the former summer residence of the Imperial family and considered one of the most beautiful.
