Northern Lights Artic Adventure
Arctic Eden
The inspiration of local Sami Janne Gronberg who saw the opportunity to create Kiruna’s most luxurious hotel while at the same time revealing throughout the heritage of the SAMI people. Rooms are light and airy, typically Nordic in style with wooden floors and minimalist décor but housing all the latest electronic details from flat screen TV to Sony sound systems.
All 32 rooms are well appointed but the 5 suites deserve special mention for their bathrooms alone. With Whirlpool baths, massage showers with inbuilt music systems and personal saunas make these some of the best we have seen anywhere in Lapland. Above everything however is a will to make sure that guests enjoy and make the most of their stay in Kiruna. There is a restaurant and bar on site.
IceHotel
The IceHotel has made Kiruna famous and we do provide the opportunity to stay in this remarkable place. You sleep on a bed of warm insulating reindeer hides and ultra warm sleeping bags. Your bedroom temperature is a steady -5 degrees. Splash out on an ice suite, one of the individually styled rooms by a leading ice artist. You can warm up in the Icebar or enjoy a fine meal in the IceHotel restaurant.
The Rallaren
This hundred year old building, one of the oldest in Kiruna, has recently been converted into a very warm and hospitable place to stay. For clients wishing to offset the cost of a stay at the Ice Hotel with a more modestly priced hotel, this represents the perfect place. Besides having two areas for guests to relax and make hot drinks it also has a sauna and hot tub in the garden. The hotel has a restaurant which services evening meals. There are 4 authentic Lavus in the grounds. These are authentic solid structure Tepees with glass roofs and offer a completely different experience.
